Victoria Beckham Puts a Chic Spin on Power Dressing
On International Women’s Day, Victoria Beckham didn’t wear red but rather showed her support of girl power through Facebook Live, where she discussed her path to the top of the design and beauty worlds. And while she may have previously sported platforms and minidresses to get her message of female empowerment across in the ’90s, yesterday, while leaving her Dover Street store, the sophisticated businesswoman shed that image in lieu of a modern-day girl boss in strong shades of sunset orange and midnight blue.
Her boyish shirt was given a dose of richness by a soft silhouette, which paired nicely with her equally slouchy tuxedo-inspired trousers. Accessories were also in line with Beckham’s minimal shift. The It Brit opted for only her signature pieces: flat-top shades, mini Half Moon bag, and optic white stilettos. This was a girl-power statement with a high-fashion spin.
